925 sterling silver means the piece is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% alloy (almost always copper, sometimes a trace of zinc). Will my anklet turn black

Yes, all sterling silver tarnishes eventually because the 7.5% copper in the alloy reacts with sulphur in air, perfume, perspiration and lotions. That is chemistry, not a defect.
